The Hunt

$380.00
sold out

Just before we met, Joe had to say good-by to his 13 year old “Baby Boy” his dog. I wanted to create a memorial of Cody for Joe. I started thinking about how to do this and this inspiration developed. "The Hunt" comes from the desire to capture the quiet moments of connection between nature, animals, and the human experience. It reflects the timeless tradition of hunting and retrieving, not as a sport, but as a shared journey between man and dog. The soft tones and early morning mist symbolize the peace and stillness of the natural world, inviting viewers to reflect on the beauty of these fleeting moments.

Medium: Acrylic on Canvas

“Bridge to Life” holds a very specail meaning for me. I painted this while I was away from home for 6 weeks of radiation therapy after having a cancerous brain tumor removed.

Message “bridge” to receive a free printable copy of the painting and the story behind it.
