As I painted, I focused on the interplay of light and shadow, the way the soft morning glow illuminated the coffee cup and the petals of the roses. Each brushstroke was a meditation in itself, allowing me to express the warmth and comfort that a rainy morning can bring. The rich browns of the coffee contrasted beautifully with the vibrant pinks and whites of the roses, creating a harmonious balance that reflects the beauty of nature and the simple joys of life. I wanted viewers to feel as if they could step into the scene, to experience that moment of peace and reflection for themselves.
